OCWAR-T will organise a capacity building course on investigating organised crime this 16 june



The Objective of the this first virtual workshop will be to give a general overview of organised crime in West Africa and its impact on the population, and focus on developing a journalistic investigation on one specific illicit economy (wildlife trafficking), using a range of concepts and skill sets that will be explained to the participants throughout the interactive workshop. The workshop is organised in partnership with the Cellule Norbert Zongo du Journalisme d’Investigation en Afrique de l’Ouest (CENOZO) and the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN), which co-developed with GITOC the Guide to Investigating Organized Crime in Africa.
