The President of ECOWAS Commission, H.E. Mr Oma &The European Union(EU) Ambassador Samuela Isopi, will hold a breakfast meeting on 19 June to discuss current issues regarding regional security, transition countries and regional programming.At the meeting, the EU Ambassador and President of the ECOWAS Commission will provide updates on matters such as the three transition countries (Mali, BF, Guinea), the regional security architecture's implementation of the conclusions of the December 2022 ECOWAS Ordinary Summit, and the follow-up to the latest EU-ECOWAS Ministerial Dialogue.
the EU Ambassador and the President of the ECOWAS Commission will then discuss the update on regional programming and next steps.
Both parties look forward to productive talks and a positive outcome for the region.
